2.4.6 DC Power Supply

The DC power supply are powered by 48 volts DC. Each component regulates its power needs. A single DC power

supply provides enough current to operate a fully-populated chassis.

Figure 2-6 shows the front view of an RS 32000 DC power supply.

The RS 32000 DC power supply has three power terminals on the front panel, consisting of one positive (+) terminal,

one negative (-) terminal, and a safety ground. The DC supply is designed to be powered by a 48 volt DC source.
